St Saviours Primary, Poplar, London in collaboration with Bow Arts.

St Saviour's Primary commissioned a permanent installation in the main entrance corridor to the school to celebrate their 150th anniversary. The school had a large archive which they wanted to include in the final work and to use as inspiration for student learning. Objects included the original Victorian school logbooks, numerous archaeological objects and even the old school cane!

 

The work began with a period of research and social engagement with past and present students. The Museum is interactive and includes sound buttons, viewing panels, drawers and pop out books. It acts as a legacy piece for the school and for further learning.
