Permanent commission, basketball fence

Langdon Park Secondary, Poplar, London in collaboration with Bow Arts Trust.

Langdon Park Secondary commissioned a permanent artwork for the back fence of their basketball courts. Sara worked with a group of Year 10 GCSE students over several months to generate ideas and visual images. The work focused on the theme of Places and investigated Op Art and the works of Bridget Riley for inspiration.

 

The subsequent installation was made from hundreds of Dibond tiles secured to a 26 metre long wire fence.
